About Child of Light™

Child of Light™ poster

Child of Light is an RPG that plays like a storybook come to life. You follow Aurora, a young girl from 1895 Austria who wakes on the lost continent of Lemuria. The Queen of the Night has stolen the sun, moon, and stars, and to find her way home Aurora must confront the darkness, with far more than Lemuria hanging in the balance. Crafted by a team at Ubisoft Montreal using the UbiArt Framework, the game unfolds through a story written in verse and rhyme.

Lemuria itself feels like stepping into a painting. As you travel, you meet an odd cast of forest spirits, talking mice, wicked witches, and sea serpents, exploring iconic locations and dungeons that shift and open up as Aurora recovers the stolen lights.

Combat runs on an Active-Time Battle System, with Aurora fighting beside the firefly Igniculus and other party members. Deep skill trees and a flexible party let you approach fights your own way, and on PC a friend can drop in at any time to control Igniculus in seamless cooperative play.
