The setting is the year 2050, a post-apocalyptic wasteland where hordes of nightmare creatures known as the Wasted overrun the streets each night, forcing survivors to barricade themselves inside their skyscraper homes. There is only one route out, and it is called the Carmageddon.

These deadly races dangle power, prestige, and valuable prizes in front of anyone brave enough to enter, but the real prize is the champion's right to attempt the perilous journey to the last spaceport beyond the mountains, humanity's final chance to flee a dying world. You start as one racer among many, armed with little more than a rust bucket, scavenged fuel, and a makeshift weapon, squaring off against rival gangs like the Autoscum. Every destruction race is a shot at winning parts and upgrades that inch you closer to escape, even as night falls and the Wasted flood the roads alongside you.
