About Camp Canyonwood

Camp Canyonwood poster

In Camp Canyonwood you arrive as the newest counselor at a run-down summer camp, and the job of bringing it back to life falls squarely on your shoulders. Across successive summers you manage arriving campers and rebuild the grounds piece by piece, coaxing this charmingly strange camping life sim back toward its former glory through building and modification.

The daily work revolves around teaching. Campers take part in activities ranging from fishing, archery, and stargazing to bug catching, rock collecting, wood chopping, hiking, and wildflower gathering, and it is your task to help them earn Badges while learning their distinct quirks and preferences. Everyone is unique, with their own look, personality, health, and happiness to monitor, and you also have to shield them from the hazards of the great outdoors, whether that means snakes, bears, or the occasional alien.

Happy campers mean paying parents, and those profits fund the upgrades that keep the camp growing. You can expand with fresh decorations and accommodations, choosing from a variety of tents and cabins plus dozens of collectible items, from practical grills for cooking to purely cosmetic touches. With more activities planned for the full release, this indie simulation offers a cozy, offbeat management loop for PC players who like their life sims with a dash of weirdness.
