About Builders of Egypt

Builders of Egypt poster

Builders of Egypt is a city-building strategy game that lets you roam the land of the pharaohs across the ages, from the Nile Delta down to Nubia. You raise cities, juggle trade, economy and resources, make strategic calls, command armies in battle, nurture religious life and look after your citizens' well-being. On PC you can tackle a full campaign or let your imagination loose in a freeform Sandbox mode.

What gives it scope is its sweep through history. The game spans the entire arc of pharaonic Egypt, opening as the governor of Memphis under King Narmer during the Early Dynastic Period and closing in Dendera during the Ptolemaic era under Cleopatra VII, surfacing lesser-known facts along the way. That journey plays out across a vibrant, living world of growing settlements, lush fields along the Nile, desert sands and rich Egyptian flora and fauna, all set to an original soundtrack.

Success rests on a solid economic base. Across nearly forty varied missions you manage revenue to head off crises, produce goods, extract resources and open new trade routes, while developing the roads and infrastructure that keep a great civilization thriving. Build, trade and wage wars in equal measure.
