About Broken Age

Broken Age is a hand-animated, family-friendly adventure game brimming with puzzles and a coming-of-age heart. Designed by industry legend Tim Schafer and funded by a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign, it tells a warm, offbeat tale of barfing trees and talking spoons, brought to life by an all-star voice cast. On PC it's an accessible indie adventure with real charm.

At its centre are Vella Tartine and Shay Volta, two teenagers caught in oddly parallel situations but living in radically different worlds. You can switch freely between their stories, guiding each of them as they try to seize control of their own lives and cope with the strange adventures that keep finding them.

The cast gives the whole thing a distinctive voice, with Elijah Wood as Shay, Masasa Moyo as Vella, and Jack Black as Harm'ny Lightbeard, alongside Jennifer Hale, Wil Wheaton and Pendleton Ward. Their performances lend real personality to a puzzle-filled journey that's as timeless as it is quirky.
