Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead pulls off an unlikely crossover, dropping the brain-teasing bridge-building of the Bridge Constructor series into the post-apocalyptic world of AMC's The Walking Dead. The result is a puzzle game for PC where solving physics problems doubles as a way to wipe out the undead, all with a grim sense of fun.
The setup casts you among a band of survivors fending off both walker hordes and a hostile human community. You build bridges and other structures through bleak landscapes and ruined buildings, teaming up with fan favourites like Daryl, Michonne and Eugene to open safe passage for the show's iconic vehicles.
What sets it apart is turning the environment into a weapon. You use movable level objects, explosives and baits to lure walkers into deadly traps while steering your survivors to safety, and the physics-based chaos, complete with ragdoll animations, means watching the undead tumble to their doom is half the reward for a clever solution.
