About Bob l'éponge : The Cosmic Shake

Bob l'éponge : The Cosmic Shake poster

Hand SpongeBob and Patrick a vial of wish-granting Mermaid's Tears and, predictably, the universe starts coming apart at the seams. In The Cosmic Shake, an overexcited flurry of wishes tears open space and time, scattering Cosmic Jelly across Bikini Bottom and flinging open portals to bizarre Wishworlds. This family-friendly action platformer for PC turns that mishap into a colourful cross-dimensional romp.

Getting things back to normal means costumes, and lots of them. You unlock over thirty outfits, from SnailBob to SpongeGar, alongside classic and new platforming moves like the Fishhook Swing and Karate Kick. Seven distinct Wishworlds await, spanning settings like Wild West Jellyfish Fields and Halloween Rock Bottom, each packed with knights, cowboys, pirates and prehistoric snails.

The game leans hard on its show roots. Balloon-Patrick tags along as SpongeBob's permanent companion for a steady stream of buddy-movie banter, familiar Bikini Bottom residents turn up voiced by their original actors, and the soundtrack pulls in 101 songs from the series, Sweet Victory among them. The whole thing kicks off when fortune teller Kassandra hands the pair those fateful tears.
