About Blood West

Blood West poster

Blood West mashes up frontier folklore with cosmic dread, casting you as an Undead Gunslinger cursed to wander a corrupted West until you find a way to cleanse the land and free your soul. This is no tale of redemption; it leans firmly into damnation. As a stealth-focused FPS for PC, it wears its influences openly, tipping its hat to the Thief series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Hunt: Showdown, and even bringing back Stephen Russell, the voice of Garrett, as the protagonist.

The world is split into three open-ended regions, the Canyons, the Swamp and the Mountains, each crawling with monsters and demons and open to explore at your own pace. Clearing all three runs around twenty hours on average, and closer to thirty-five for anyone chasing everything the barren lands hide.

Caution is the whole point. Rather than charging in, you scout, stalk and strike from cover, always weighing whether a fort packed with ghouls can be emptied without ever tripping an alarm. The setting itself is a nightmarish reimagining of Wild West legend, its curse warping every living thing and calling up restless spirits and dark entities.
