About Blasphemous

Blasphemous poster

Blasphemous unfolds in the cursed land of Cvstodia, where a terrible affliction known only as The Miracle has descended upon everything and everyone. You play as The Penitent One, the lone survivor of the massacre of the Silent Sorrow, caught in an unending cycle of death and rebirth. Freeing the world from this grim fate, and reaching the source of your own anguish, rests entirely on your shoulders.

The game sends you deep into a nightmarish realm of twisted religion, thick with hidden secrets waiting to be discovered. Combat is deliberately savage, built around devastating combos and brutal executions used to cut down hordes of grotesque monsters and towering bosses, each eager to tear you apart limb from limb.

Progression comes from what you find along the way. As an indie action-adventure on PC, Blasphemous has you locating and equipping relics, rosary beads, and prayers that call upon the powers of the heavens, granting aid in your relentless quest to shatter your eternal damnation. The atmosphere of religious dread and the demanding, punishing fights combine to make every hard-won step through Cvstodia feel earned.
