BLACKTAIL lets you shape the origin of a legend, forging the myth of Baba Yaga through a striking mix of intense archery combat, magic, and dark storytelling set in a vivid fairy-tale world. You become either the guardian of the woods or the terror that haunts nightmares, and the path you walk is yours to decide.

The story follows Yaga, a sixteen-year-old girl accused of witchcraft and cast out from a medieval Slavic settlement. When living memories of her past return as foul, walking spirits, she has little choice but to hunt them down in the hope of untangling her own mystery. A Morality system ties your choices to your growth, so decisions about the fate of the land and its people leave a visible mark on your skills.

As an action-adventure RPG on PC, it keeps you tracking elusive spirits with a trusty bow and gauntlet and squaring off in thrilling boss fights. Survival in the ominous woods means crafting arrows and potions, hunting wild game, and gathering resources, while hidden treasures reveal more of your surroundings and history. Lost recipes and brewed elixirs let you sharpen your abilities and tailor your playstyle.
