About BLACKSAD: Under the Skin

BLACKSAD: Under the Skin poster

BLACKSAD: Under the Skin unravels a dark corruption scandal buried deep in the underworld of 1950s New York City, following the charismatic detective John Blacksad. It begins with a death: Joe Dunn, the owner of a boxing club, is found dead, while rising star Bobby Yale, set to fight the most important bout of his career, has vanished without explanation.

With the gym now in her hands and its finances in disarray, Joe's daughter Sonia hires Blacksad to track down the missing fighter. That investigation drags the detective into the bleakest, most dismal corners of the city, and the game's anthropomorphic characters and richly rendered 1950s atmosphere deliver all the eerie, shadowy tension of a hard-boiled detective novel, faithful to the acclaimed comic series it draws from.

As a PC adventure with casual and puzzle elements, it lets you run the investigation your own way. You lean on Blacksad's sharp feline senses to sniff out fresh clues, and the decisions you make on his behalf shape how the case unfolds and where it ultimately lands, making you an active hand in steering the story toward its resolution.
