Big Ambitions starts you small, with a slim bank balance and outsized dreams. A bit of help from your uncle lands you an apartment and a first job, but everything after that is on you as you set out to conquer New York City however you see fit. You might build a cluster of modest shops, grow them into sprawling corporations, or forge some entirely personal route to success in what amounts to a vast business sandbox on PC.

The sense of progression is the draw. You climb from a cramped apartment and public transit toward luxury suites, fast cars, and designer furniture, funneling profits into investment funds and real estate, and weathering the cycle of success, failure, and rebuilding, all while remembering to sleep, stay happy, and take care of yourself on the way up.

Almost any venture is fair game. You can open a gift shop, supermarket, coffee shop, law firm, clothing store, florist, and more, deciding for yourself what winning looks like, whether that is a single storefront, a fast-food chain, or millions made building websites from a basement.
