Besiege is a physics-driven building game where you assemble medieval siege engines and unleash them on towering fortresses and quiet villages alike. You construct contraptions capable of smashing windmills, scattering battalions of soldiers, and hauling valuable cargo, all while defending your creation from cannons, archers, and whatever else desperate defenders can muster. Whether you roll out a lumbering behemoth or lurch awkwardly into the sky, the fully destructible environments reward chaos, and your goal is to conquer every kingdom by wrecking its castles and wiping out its men and livestock, as cleverly or coldly as you please.
The indie simulation extends well beyond solo tinkering. You can clash with other players in custom arenas or team up with friends to shatter armies of knights and sack settlements by venturing into the Multiverse. Steam Workshop support lets you download other players' war machines, levels, skins, and mods to reshape your experience.
If nothing suits you, build it yourself. The level editor puts spawn points, objectives, and appearance in your hands, letting you add charming sheep and peasants or menacing archers and yak-bombs, and you can expand things further by making your own mods on PC.
