Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes is a survival fleet-management roguelite that pairs procedural storytelling with real-time space battles. You carry the weight of command, steering a fleet of survivors relentlessly pursued by the Cylons, and each fresh run is another desperate bid to reunite with humanity's last hope. On PC, that pressure never lets up.
The Fleet Management phases give you only so many turns to prepare before the next inevitable Cylon strike. As the enemy closes in, you set priorities: send expeditions to nearby points of interest for resources, distribute supplies and personnel to defuse crises, upgrade ships for firepower and durability, and train crew to sharpen their efficiency in and out of combat.
Your choices ripple through the fleet's condition, touching faction politics, healthcare, and maintenance. Each of those indicators can dynamically spark tailored narrative events, and things can spiral fast, epidemics, critical malfunctions, even outright civil war, if you lose your grip. In moments of crisis, the fleet turns to you for the hard calls. So say we all.
