About Baldur's Gate 3

Baldur's Gate 3 poster

Baldur's Gate 3 calls you back to the Forgotten Realms for a sweeping tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, all shadowed by the seductive pull of absolute power. Mysterious abilities are stirring inside you, drawn from a mind flayer parasite lodged in your brain, leaving you to either resist and turn the darkness against itself or embrace the corruption and become something truly monstrous. From the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2, it's a next-generation RPG set squarely in the world of Dungeons & Dragons.

Assembling your party is central. You can choose from 12 classes and 11 races out of the D&D Player's Handbook, play as an Origin hero with a hand-crafted background, or wrestle with the Dark Urge, a fully customisable Origin hero carrying unique mechanics and story. Whoever you become, you'll adventure, loot, battle and romance your way across the Realms, and you can take the journey online with a party of up to four.

At the heart of it lies an expansive original story about turning into a monster even as your power grows, where the bonds of trust within your party may prove your greatest strength. Caught between devils, deities and sinister forces, you'll decide the fate of the Forgotten Realms. On PC, this adventure-strategy RPG is a landmark of player-driven storytelling.
