About Atomfall

Atomfall poster

Atomfall is a survival-action game rooted in real history, unfolding five years after the Windscale nuclear disaster in Northern England. It comes from Rebellion, the studio behind Sniper Elite and Zombie Army, and challenges you to piece together the dark truth of what actually happened.

The fictional quarantine zone is yours to explore, a British countryside laced with rolling hills and quiet villages that mask real menace. As an action-adventure, it hands the story to the player: you scavenge, craft, barter, fight and talk your way through a landscape populated by strange characters, mysticism, cults and rogue government agencies, and every choice you make carries consequences across its interwoven narratives.

Survival is deliberately tense. Weapons and ammunition are scarce, so each frantic encounter blends careful marksmanship with vicious hand-to-hand fighting. You'll manage your heart rate to steady your aim and conserve the energy needed to swing a cricket bat for the finishing blow. Navigating cult-held ruins, natural caves and nuclear bunkers, you move through a dense, foreboding world that reimagines Windscale into something uniquely unsettling. On PC, it's a mystery built to be unravelled through exploration, investigation and desperate combat.
