About Assetto Corsa

Assetto Corsa poster

Assetto Corsa is a racing simulation built for players who want their driving to feel genuinely earned. Powered by a DirectX 11 graphics engine, it renders immersive environments with dynamic lighting and convincing surfaces, but its real depth lives in the physics. Tyres behave the way real rubber does, complete with flat spots, heat cycles, graining and blistering, while advanced aerodynamics, active movable parts driven by telemetry, and hybrid KERS systems reward drivers who understand what's happening beneath them.

Developed at KUNOS Simulazioni's R&D base beside the Vallelunga circuit, the game grew out of direct collaboration with real racing drivers and teams. Its officially licensed cars are recreated with the accuracy that only manufacturer cooperation makes possible, and both single-player and multiplayer options are supported.

The tracks are just as meticulous. Every circuit is laser-scanned to capture real-world layouts down to fine detail, and the roster includes legendary venues such as Monza, Silverstone, Imola, Mugello, Spa and Brands Hatch, alongside a historical recreation of Monza. On PC, it remains a benchmark for anyone chasing simulation-grade authenticity.
