Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India transplants the series into a vivid 2.5D stealth adventure set against the backdrop of 19th-century Colonial India. You take on the role of Arbaaz on a quest for retribution, exploring a version of the country rendered in a palette of vibrant colors as you zip-line across the streets of Amritsar, slip into the shadows of a palace, and hunt legendary artifacts in the footsteps of Alexander the Great.
The game leans into the fantasy of the smart, charming Assassin. You use new tricks to disguise yourself and loot, and gain fresh Assassin's gear such as the talwar, a curved sword, and the chakram, a circular throwing weapon, both of which deal heavy damage and open up ways to interact with the environment. Combat additions like a double kill move, a helix strike and silent takedowns give you room to show off, while nimble platforming and destructible squares and bazaars let you escape and leave chaos in your wake.
Beyond the story there's a dedicated challenge mode, unlocking rooms that push your skills through demanding obstacle courses. Beating the scores lets you collect artifacts, fulfill special contracts and carry out assassinations in a distinct new twist on the experience.
