About Aphelion

Aphelion is a cinematic third-person action-adventure that strands you on Persephone, a newly discovered ninth planet at the frozen edge of our solar system. By 2060 the Earth has become unlivable, and the European Space Agency's Hope-01 mission sends two astronauts, Ariane and Thomas, to determine whether this uncharted world could give humanity a second home. A violent crash landing shatters that plan, scattering the pair and turning the survey into a desperate hunt to reunite.

Most of your time is spent traversing a surreal, ever-shifting frozen landscape shaped by deadly weather and treacherous terrain. Rather than weapons, you rely on explorational gear such as a pathfinder, an oxygen tank and a grappling hook, using them to cross dark chasms, avoid lurking dangers, and slowly gather clues about a reality-bending phenomenon that threatens your existence.

Playing largely as Ariane, driven to push forward and reach Thomas, you uncover the haunting secrets buried beneath the ice. It's an atmospheric PC adventure built on isolation, exploration and the quiet dread of surviving a truly unknown world.
