About Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs poster

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs plunges you into the year 1899, into a world it grimly describes as a machine built only for the slaughter of pigs. Wealthy industrialist Oswald Mandus wakes in his bed, burning with fever and haunted by visions of a dark and hellish engine.

Tormented by memories of a disastrous expedition to Mexico, wracked with guilt and tropical disease, and broken by the collapse of his industrial dreams, Mandus surfaces into a living nightmare. The house around him is silent, yet the ground trembles with the workings of some infernal machine deep below.

All he knows for certain is that his children are in terrible danger, and saving them falls to him alone. As an indie action-adventure horror for PC, the game builds its dread from this desperate personal stake, drawing you through an eerie industrial nightmare in search of the children he cannot bear to lose.
