About American Fugitive

American Fugitive poster

American Fugitive channels the spirit of classic Grand Theft Auto into a modern 3D top-down open world, delivered as a single-player sandbox from Fallen Tree Games, a studio whose founders bring AAA pedigree from titles like TimeSplitters, Crysis, Black and GoldenEye 007: Reloaded.

The story unfolds in Redrock County, a sleepy 1980s southern town with a thriving criminal underbelly. You play Will Riley, no saint but certainly no killer, wrongly imprisoned for the cold-blooded murder of his own father. Driven by grief and a thirst for vengeance, Will breaks out of jail determined to hunt down the real culprit, all while blending in with the townsfolk and staying ahead of the police dragnet.

As a mature action-adventure for PC, the game rediscovers the joy of top-down carnage with 3D graphics, destructible environments and epic car chases. Its original story is a tale of mystery, deception and corruption, full of twists and populated by a colorful cast of law-breakers and law-enforcers, a heartfelt love letter to the movies and games of old.
