About Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop

Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop builds on the original Alien Swarm by piling on more of everything, from maps and aliens to game modes and weapons, and crucially adds Steam Workshop support so the community can keep the content flowing.

At its core this is a tactical top-down co-op shooter for up to eight players, backed by new cooperative campaigns and Challenges that remix the rules much like Mutations did in Left 4 Dead 2. If you prefer to go it alone, singleplayer lets you tackle every official map alongside improved bots.

Competitive players get plenty too, with PvP modes spanning Deathmatch, Gun Game, Instagib and Team Deathmatch. Fresh aliens like Half-Life 2 antlion guards join the roster, new weapons including the Desert Eagle, Devastator and Combat Rifle expand your arsenal, and over 100 Steam achievements plus leaderboards give this PC action title real staying power. Improved spectating even lets you watch hacking minigames and mouse movements in real time.
