Age of Water drops you onto a post-apocalyptic Earth swallowed almost entirely by ocean, where you take command as a sea captain and set out to explore a huge open world. You'll sail through storms, fight and trade, seize other people's boats or build your own, haul resources up from the seabed, and gradually uncover the secrets of a drowned civilization.
The setting gives the adventure its flavor. After the ocean destroyed a once-great society, the survivors adapted, raising settlements atop the roofs of skyscrapers and the peaks of other flooded structures. People now cross the waves in everything from tiny boats to massive combat vessels, drawing what they need from the sea and the resources buried beneath it, all while the dream of finding real land still flickers.
Exploration runs at your own pace as you discover settlements, meet their inhabitants, take on tasks, and earn a living through trade or salvage before eventually founding a base of your own. Shipbuilding is a centerpiece, with dozens of hulls and hundreds of parts letting you assemble anything from a nimble boat to a hulking 30-meter vessel, then outfit it with equipment, armor, weapons, and a capable crew. As an action-adventure MMO for PC, Age of Water invites you to carve out a life on an endless sea.
