Age of Mythology: Retold comes from the creators of the award-winning Age of Empires franchise and pushes beyond recorded history into a mythical age where gods, monsters, and humans collide. It fuses the best of the beloved original with modern real-time strategy design and visuals, aiming to be an epic, innovative experience for longtime fans and newcomers alike. The question it poses is simple: will you become mythic?

The gods are your greatest weapon. You choose deities from the Greek, Norse, Egyptian, and Atlantean pantheons, then devastate your enemies with lightning storms, earth-shattering quakes, or the famed Nidhogg dragon, or instead call down nourishing rains and protective Dryads to help your people prosper. Alongside them you unleash a menagerie of mythic creatures, from Centaurs, Trolls, and Mummies to sun-powered crocodiles and the mighty one-eyed Cyclops.

The campaign spans 50 missions across a vast mythological world, taking you from the walls of Troy to the frozen wastes of Midgard and the shifting sands of Egypt in search of Osiris's mysteries. Multiplayer lets you play head-to-head with friends, too. As a strategy PC game, Retold pairs classic empire-building with legendary powers, inviting you to rise as a hero of myth, or even a god.
