About Abiotic Factor

Abiotic Factor unfolds inside GATE, a secretive global network of research labs where the world's brightest minds probe the unexplainable, from gravity-warping artifacts to violent supernatural entities. Safety and secrecy are supposedly paramount, right up until a catastrophic containment breach turns your workplace into a cosmic battle zone. Anomalies run loose, enemies pour in through interdimensional portals, and an arcane military sect called The Order hunts personnel and creatures alike.

Stranded miles underground with no rescue coming, you and your fellow scientists have to band together, plan an escape, and make the subterranean complex your temporary home. That premise fuels a multiplayer open-world survival crafting experience wrapped in a distinctly 90s sci-fi mood, complete with rich character progression.

Up to six players can team up, each choosing their PhDs and building out a scientist before gearing up to explore the sprawling facility. What awaits is a massive complex packed with supernatural artifacts, transdimensional foes, and plenty of fringe science experiments gone wrong. Spanning action, adventure, RPG, simulation, and FPS elements, this PC game blends cooperative survival with a memorable retro-laboratory atmosphere, giving groups of friends a strange underground world to conquer together.
