Merge Gardens overview: a tidy garden with two puzzle rhythms

A source-based look at the match-3 boards, merge planning and restoration story, without a fabricated hands-on score.

The attraction is the connection between two puzzles

A merge game can turn into a collection of unfinished chains. A match-3 game can turn into a queue of levels. Merge Gardens gives those two activities a shared setting: Daisy’s inherited estate. The interesting question is whether you enjoy moving between a compact puzzle and a longer garden project. If both are appealing, the combination gives a completed board somewhere meaningful to lead.

Judge the garden by the decisions it creates

There is pleasure in finding a place for a chain, combining a useful group and knowing what the next restoration goal requires. That also means organisation is part of the game. A crowded garden will not appeal to everyone who likes colourful puzzle boards. Before committing to a long collection project, ask whether arranging items feels like satisfying preparation or an interruption between the puzzles you actually wanted.

The story gives the restoration a reason

The official presentation frames the estate around a family mystery and unusual topiary. Treat the cinematic trailer as an introduction to that setting. The short merging and match-3 clips are the more useful evidence for deciding whether the actual interaction suits you. Enjoying one does not require pretending it is the other.

Our recommendation

Try the opening on a modest objective: complete a quest, understand its garden requirement and finish the linked puzzle work. Keep purchases out of that first decision. A game earns a regular place through a rhythm you want to repeat, rather than through the number of rewards shown at once. This overview interprets official material; it is not a claim that we completed the campaign, measured performance or tested a late-game account.
