Our verdict system
We don't score out of 100 — a single number pretends to a precision we don't have. Instead, every game and character gets a plain-language tiered verdict:
- Essential — drop what you're doing and play it.
- Recommended — a confident yes for most players.
- Worth It — good, with caveats we spell out.
- Skip — not worth your time or money right now.
How we test
We play on the current live build on PC, put real hours into the systems that matter, and re-audit fast-moving data — tier lists, character builds and codes — patch to patch. Where a call is still provisional, we say so on the page rather than pretend certainty.
Independence
We're ad-light and allergic to hype. Our "Play free" buttons link straight to each game's official site or store — they're not affiliate links. If we ever add affiliate or sponsored links, they'll be clearly labelled and they never change a verdict.
Corrections
Games are live services; details change. If something's out of date or wrong, tell us and we'll fix it — accuracy beats being first.
