Ragnarok Zero: Global is the cleaner editorial angle for players who want a PC-first Ragnarok experience without the mobile-service framing of newer spin-offs. The subscription model is the hook: it gives Gravity a way to sell fairness and lower pay-to-win pressure, while still keeping modern convenience such as auto-hunting, a revised interface and connected side systems. The risk is narrower reach. It is region/service constrained, not on Steam, and subscription MMOs need strong operations to justify recurring payment. Treat it as the serious classic-RO lane, not as another quick free-to-play install.
