Where Winds Meet (Everstone Studio / NetEase, Steam app 3564740) does use redeemable 'Exchange Codes' that grant in-game rewards such as Echo Jade, Coins, Inner Way Note Chests, and Resonating Melody, claimed through the game's mailbox. However, the studio has no persistent public gift-code portal: codes are dropped through official developer livestreams (usually in the final minutes), official social posts, the Discord announcements channel, and occasional in-game mail. Because these drops are short-lived and are rarely archived on the official website, most codes are gone within days.

No verified active codes right now. As of our last check, no publicly redeemable code can be traced to an official Where Winds Meet source. Any code lists claiming otherwise are unverified — see below.

Expired codes

CodeReward
WWMQC1 through WWMQC30Creator-event reward batch (in-game rewards; specific contents not detailed on the official notice). Officially released on the WWM website after a leak, redeemable once per account, expired May 31, 2026 23:59 UTC+8.
HOMESTEAD0625Commonly listed as 150 Echo Jade, 20,000 Coins, 1 Resonating Melody (tied to the June 25 Homestead 1.8 event; circulated on third-party sites, not verifiable on a persistent official source, now lapsed).
PALACE0528Commonly listed as Echo Jade + 20,000 Coins + Inner Way Note Chests / Resonating Melody (tied to the May 28 Imperial Palace 1.7 event; third-party sourced, now lapsed).

How to redeem codes

  1. Launch Where Winds Meet and finish the tutorial (up to and including the Void King fight) and create your character — code redemption is locked until then.
  2. Open the main menu and click the cog / gear (Settings) icon on the right side of the screen.
  3. Tab across the top to the 'Other' menu.
  4. Under Account Info, select the 'Exchange Code' box.
  5. Type or paste the exact code (codes are case-sensitive; watch for 0 vs O and 1 vs I) and confirm.
  6. Open your in-game Mailbox to claim the rewards — they are delivered to mail, not straight to your inventory.

Redemption happens only inside the game client via Settings > Other > Exchange Code; there is currently no official browser-based redemption website for Where Winds Meet, and rewards arrive in your in-game mailbox.

Why most third-party code lists are unreliable

Where Winds Meet codes are mostly dropped live during developer streams, on social channels, and in Discord, then expire within days, so third-party 'active code' lists are frequently stale or recycle codes that no longer work. Many aggregator and coupon sites also republish each other's unverified lists (and sometimes invented strings) to farm search traffic, and the developers do not maintain a public master list to check them against. The only time the studio itself posted a bulk code list was the WWMQC1–30 leak notice, which it then let expire on May 31, 2026.

Troubleshooting

Expired code: WWM codes, especially livestream and event codes, often stay valid only for a few days. If it fails, assume it has expired and watch the official livestreams/social channels for the next drop rather than trusting old list entries.

Wrong region: Some codes are issued for specific servers or storefronts (e.g. a regional livestream). Make sure you're redeeming on the same account/region the code was issued for; a valid code can still bounce on a different region.

Already redeemed: Every code is one-time-per-account, and this also applies across new characters on the same account (you'll see an 'attempt used up' error). You cannot claim the same code twice — check your mailbox history to confirm you already received it.

Level requirement: You must first complete the tutorial and the Void King battle and create a character before the Exchange Code option works. If you can't redeem at all, keep progressing the story until the feature unlocks.

Account not eligible: Some codes are limited to a promotion (creator event, beta, platform launch). If a code returns an eligibility error, it was likely restricted to a specific event or player group and cannot be used on your account.

FAQ

Are there any active Where Winds Meet codes right now (July 2026)?

No codes can currently be confirmed from an official, still-accessible source. The only officially published batch (WWMQC1–WWMQC30) expired May 31, 2026, and every July 2026 code circulating online appears only on third-party sites, so we cannot verify any as active.

Where does Where Winds Meet officially post codes?

Primarily during developer livestreams (codes usually appear in the final 15–20 minutes), plus the official social accounts (X/YouTube/TikTok), the official Discord announcements channel, and occasionally in-game mail as event or maintenance compensation.

Is there an official website to redeem codes in a browser?

No. Unlike some NetEase titles, Where Winds Meet has no browser redemption portal. All codes are entered in-game via Settings > Other > Exchange Code, and rewards land in your mailbox.

Why do third-party code lists show codes that don't work?

Most WWM codes are livestream/event drops that expire within days, and many sites recycle each other's unverified lists to attract clicks. A code that worked last week is very often dead by the time a list is read.
