Ragnarok: The New World is strongest when it is positioned as a low-friction return to Ragnarok, not as a pure PC-first MMO. The GNJOY campaign gives the hub a sharper editorial angle: eight classes for quick identity, MVP mounts as the collection chase, Prontera trading as the social economy, and fashion customization as the long-tail retention hook. That makes it a better acquisition game than its early Steam sentiment suggests, especially in SEA geos where PC and mobile habits overlap. The caution remains monetization and automation: players who want manual old-school RO may bounce, while lapsed fans who want the old mood with fewer rough edges are the best target.
