Game of Thrones: Winter Is Coming brings the HBO setting to a persistent PC strategy game. Players develop a castle and its supporting economy while recruiting commanders, preparing troops and joining alliances. The attraction is less a single scripted journey than a sequence of decisions about what to build, who to develop and which group objectives to support.

Commander encounters add a separate layer to the city and army systems. The official public reference shows different troop families and separate skill panels, while later updates introduce further development systems and activities. Guides that reproduce an older interface should therefore be treated as references rather than guarantees about current costs or balance.

The global browser launch was announced on 26 March 2019; the Steam edition lists 14 November 2019. The game is free to enter with optional purchases. This hub covers the global PC service and does not assume that separately published mobile editions share its accounts or content. Returning Facebook players should read the official continuation instructions before creating another character.
