Immortals & Elements: Building a Meta Team That Wins

How the elemental system, roles, and Immortal skills combine into a competitive battle lineup.

How the elemental system, roles, and Immortal skills combine into a competitive battle lineup.

  • Immortals fill roles — Attack (melee/frontline DPS), Range (backline DPS), Support (heal/buff), and Tank — and a balanced team wants a carry, a buffer, and sustain.
  • Elements matter: the Wind archetype (Qin Emperor + Hannibal Barca) is a dominant meta core because the Emperor's attack-speed and cleave buffs multiply Hannibal's AoE output.
  • Always run a healer/support like Theodora — her healing scales up to 100% when allies fall below 50% HP, swinging drawn-out fights.
  • Unlock and upgrade Immortal skills in priority order; a fully-skilled S-tier carry outperforms several under-invested heroes, so concentrate resources.
  • Match your dragon element and troop type to your Immortals so every buff source stacks on the same units.
  • Star up and gear your core five Immortals rather than spreading equipment thin — Mythic/Legendary gear and Energy Cores are where late-game power lives.
  • Consult a current tier list before big pulls, since meta ranks shift with each patch (e.g., Belisarius, Elizabeth Bathory, and Baldwin IV are recent standouts).
