The 14 October announcement describes new account systems and a new alliance contest, with entry conditions to check.
Two systems in the announcement
The publisher’s notice for the 15 October update introduces pets developed through the Beast Pen and describes King’s Landing Conquest, a three-alliance territorial contest. The latter is described as using a no-troop-death mode. That statement applies to this activity; it is not a general protection rule for all combat.
What new accounts should verify
The notice sets entry conditions involving kingdom age, alliance eligibility and castle development. It also announces commander Bran Stark for an October event. Check the in-game requirements and event schedule before committing resources: the announcement itself says final details are determined by the live game. The public legacy commander directory does not yet reflect this announcement, which is why our reference pages are explicitly scoped.
