Merge Gardens vs Gardenscapes

Garden restoration through two different emphases: merge planning or a match-3-led campaign.

Start with the puzzle, then the garden

Playrix presents Gardenscapes around completing match-3 levels, restoring garden areas and following Austin’s story. Merge Gardens asks you to manage merge chains as well as tackle match-3 boards. The shared garden theme is less informative than which part of the loop you want to spend the next ten minutes doing.

Use your preferences to narrow the choice

Gardenscapes is a natural comparison if you mainly want match-3 progress to reveal another restoration task. Merge Gardens deserves a look if collecting, arranging and merging the garden’s objects is itself appealing. Do not choose a merge game while assuming the organisation layer will eventually disappear.

A fair test is a modest session

Set a small objective and notice what interrupts it. Do you welcome the next board, or want to return to organising a chain? Your answer is more useful than an unsupported claim that one game has better value. Features, events and purchases change; this comparison describes the documented structure and makes no performance or monetisation ranking.

The verdict

Pick Merge Gardens for active merge planning; inspect Gardenscapes if match-3-led restoration is the main attraction.
