Choose the project, not just the crop artwork
The official Township guide combines farming, factory production, transport orders and match-3 levels with city development. Taonga organises its farm around an island setting and adventure destinations. Both can appeal to planners, but the project on screen is different.
A useful first-session comparison
Set a modest goal in each game and notice which actions you want to repeat. Does the next quest, production requirement or collection goal make the routine clearer? Do not compare an imagined fully developed account with the opening hour you can actually play.
Check the commitment
Review current account options, timers and purchase offers before investing. We have not measured progression speed, player populations or comparative spending. This comparison describes the published structure and offers a fit decision, rather than a numerical performance verdict.
