Fit for the actual objective
Check whether your chosen target calls for sustained damage, mobility or support. If the plan depends on other pilots, agree the activity before beginning.
Count the cost
Review ammunition and recovery time after a trial fight. An encounter that is technically possible may still be a poor match for the evening you have available.
