Alliance and economy: turn city progress into a shared plan

Coordinate gathering, research and event participation without making every upgrade an emergency.

Start with the alliance calendar

Before planning a week of upgrades, find out which activities your alliance is preparing for and what participation it expects. A group’s normal hours and communication habits matter as much as its advertised strength. If an event requires attendance you cannot sustain, resolve that mismatch before reshaping your account around it.

Build around a requirement

Choose a concrete objective in the live city interface and trace its prerequisites. Separate the resources already on hand from those you still need to gather, and keep research decisions aligned with that objective. This does not mean that every optional improvement is wrong. It means you should be able to explain why it comes before the goal you chose.

Gather with the group’s rules in mind

Check which locations your alliance uses and whether there are local agreements about resource nodes. Select a task your deployment can complete, rather than occupying the largest visible target by habit. Review what troops will be away from the city and how long the trip lasts. A gathering plan is only practical if it fits the protection and participation arrangements you have made.

Read each event’s own rules

Do not assume that troop-loss rules carry across all activities. The October 2026 notice describes King’s Landing Conquest as a three-alliance contest with a no-troop-death mode, but its entry conditions and schedule belong to that mode. Verify the current registration and eligibility display before arranging participation. It is a mistake to transfer an event-specific safety statement to ordinary world-map conflict.

Keep optional spending deliberate

Compare what a purchase changes with the activity you plan to repeat. A resource bundle, a commander project and a cosmetic are different decisions even when they appear in the same promotion. Decide the budget first, then evaluate the item; the presence of a limited timer does not define your objective. The useful outcome is an account you understand and a group whose plans you can follow.
